Domino’s – making use of social

Domino’s Pizza Australia launched their social pizza campaign today allowing Facebook fans to create their own pizza which will be available on all menus once the campaign is over.

How it works:
Throughout the week, fans will be able to vote for a crust, sauce and toppings. The element of the pizza that wins the most amount of votes for that day, will make it onto the pizza. On the final day, fans will be given the opportunity to name the social creation which will make it onto the Domino’s menu around Australia. Fans will win $1k if their name is chosen.

A great use of social media and crowd sourcing for a sales driven competition. It will be interesting to see how the pizza turns out, and if anyone will buy it! Watch the video below.
